International Service Projects
Literacy Initiative: Selling handmade necklaces to collect funds for Rotary Clubs in Nepal and Ethiopia which would help support their education and literacy initiative projects. These include building a school and helping to fund the startup costs of the new facility.
Basra Prosthetic Limbs Project: Collecting prosthetic limbs from orthopedic clinics, which are no longer in use, and refurbishing them to fit onto patients in Basra, Iraq.
Wheelchair Foundation: Raising funds to provide new wheelchairs to those in need overseas and providing mobility for victims of birth defects, war injuries, debilitating diseases, or the elderly.
Shelter Box Project: Gathering funds to sponsor a shelter box which contains food, shelter, and vital equipment for 10 people. The boxes are then shipped to war refugees and victims of weather disasters.
Philippines Disaster Relief Project: Rotaractors collected clothing and funds to ship to the Philippines to aid the mudslide victims from last years disaster in Southern Leyte.
